Same-day callback
Get a quote on gas piping & leak detection
30 seconds. We call you back the same day.
From appliance hookups to whole-house repipes.
Gas work is regulated for good reason. We're licensed, we pull permits, we use the right materials (black iron, CSST, or copper as required), and every joint gets soap-and-manometer tested.
Gas leak detection
Smell gas? Bubble test, electronic sniffer, and pressure decay test to find the leak. We isolate, repair, and re-test before turning gas back on.
Appliance gas hookups
Stove, dryer, generator, fireplace, pool heater, grill — sized properly so your existing line still feeds the rest of the house.
Gas line installation & extension
Adding a tankless? Generator? Outdoor kitchen? We size the line for the new BTU load and run it cleanly with proper supports.
Whole-house gas repipe
Old galvanized or undersized black iron replaced with new black iron or CSST. Permit pulled, inspected, manometer-tested before re-pressurization.
From phone call to walkthrough — done right.
1. Site visit & permit
We size the work, pull the permit, and schedule the inspection up front.
2. Materials per code
Black iron for most fixed runs; CSST where it makes sense. No flex connectors hidden in walls. Ever.
3. Test before turning on gas
Pressure decay test at 1.5x working pressure for the spec hold time. Soap test on every joint. We don't turn the gas back on until it's perfect.
4. Inspection & sign-off
Town inspector signs off. You get a copy of the permit. Done by the book.
We don't promise quality. We deliver it.
We size it for your house, not the catalog
Manual J load calc on every install — most contractors skip it. Wrong size = short cycling, comfort issues, and a lot of wasted fuel.
Mass Save rebates handled for you
We're a registered Mass Save partner. Generous rebates on qualifying heat pumps and high-efficiency boilers — we file the paperwork.
Master Plumber on every install
Licensed Master Plumber (MA #MP17629) on every install — not a sales rep, not a sub.
Clean, labeled, serviceable
Our installs are diagrammed, labeled, and tidy. The next tech who walks in (even if it's not us) can service the system without guessing.
Common questions about gas piping & leak detection.
I smell gas — what should I do?
Leave the building, don't operate any switches, and call the gas utility from outside. Once they make it safe at the meter, call us — (508) 944-7623 — to find and fix the leak inside the house.
Do I need a permit for a stove or dryer hookup?
Yes — Massachusetts requires a gas permit for any new appliance connection. We pull it; the inspector signs off.
Can I run my own gas line?
No — gas piping inside the home is licensed-plumber-only in Massachusetts. DIY gas lines are a code violation and a homeowner-insurance problem.
