FAQ
Common questions about water filtration.
Do I need a water softener?
If your water tests above 7 grains per gallon hardness AND you have scale on fixtures or short water-heater life, yes. Below that, you might just need a carbon filter or nothing.
Are softened-water and salt-free systems the same?
No. Salt-based softeners actually remove hardness ions. 'Salt-free conditioners' just keep ions in suspension and have mixed real-world results. We're honest about which one solves your problem.
How much do whole-home filtration systems cost?
Pricing varies by system size and water test results. We quote in writing after testing.
